In October 2025, Thumbs Up Moving Labor officially reached an incredible milestone — 10,000+ completed moves.
What began in 2013 as a small, family-run operation in Snohomish, Washington has grown into one of the most trusted names in moving labor help, serving thousands of homes and businesses across Washington and Arizona.

The journey started when Jason Elkins and his brother Justin were looking for a new opportunity that combined hard work with purpose. With encouragement from their older brother Jesse — “If you’ve got a truck, you’ve got a way to make money” — Jason bought an old Chevy and began hauling scrap metal.
He quickly realized that while transportation options like U-Haul, PODS, and Penske were plentiful, there was a bigger gap — professional movers who could handle the heavy lifting.
That insight led to the creation of what would become Thumbs Up Moving Labor. Originally called Washington Moving Labor Services, the company rebranded as it grew beyond the Pacific Northwest. The new name was inspired by the 5,000+ “thumbs up” photos from happy clients who appreciated the team’s reliability, energy, and dedication.
